  • Action Wrenches and sockets?

I have a bunch of wrenches and sockets, mostly 1/4 and 3/8 drive, that are marked "Action" and "made in USA". I helped clean out a house and shop of an old guy who has passed away. He was a old-time Union man, so i "inherited" a lot of good American made hand tools for my trouble. I'm not familiar with Action , if anybody has a clue or info id appreciate it. They could be out of a Globemaster tool special, I plan on usin them in my knock-around, dont care if i lose em toolbox. Thanks

Check out this website it will give you alot of information on old hand tools mostly Wrenches and Socket sets etc....
Here's what I found on Action tools.

In 1957 Thorsen began offering an economy line of tools under the "Action" brand.

Thanks for the reply. i googles Action, found a Taiwan brand saying they started in 1981, but these sockets were probably acquired in the late 60's, early 70's. They do look like an "economy" line, but they fit well and get the job done
