  • leap of death

    my people are loosing it.

    23 000 feet in a kingair.

dude decides to open the door of the aircaraft and jump out.

it's unclear how he was able to open a door that is "supposed" to be impossible to open, but he did.

the plane continued it's flight to cambridge bay without further incident and landed safely.

    Re: leap of death

Some guy jumped from an overpass down here in morning traffic.

It's sad when people think ending it is the best option.

i've been doing some reading and apparently at 23 000 feet it takes 1min and 30seconds at terminal velocity to hit the ground.

that's a long time to think about your actions.

It's often said suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

there's a solution to every problem.....you just have to be willing to find it.

You can yell "DO OVER" all you want but it's too late.

Let it be such work that our descendants will thank us for, and let us think, as we lay stone upon stone, that a time is to come when these stones will be held sacred because our hands have touched them, and that men will say, as they look upon the labor and wrought substance of them, "See! This our fathers did for us."
