  • Memory Lane: Looking Back At The Ridgid Calendar Girls 1952 -1953

I recently just came across some of these old Ridgid girl cartoons from 1952 - 1953 and thought you'll might find it cool.

Even with clothes on they made these girls look good back then:

Maybe some of you remember this

    About The Artist:

George Petty was one of the top "cheesecake" illustrators of the 30s and 40s. He began his career with a series of cartoons featuring beautiful girls and their far from handsome beaus. His work coined the term "Petty Girls" to describe the carefully airbrushed girls with brilliant smiles and sexy poses.

      Oh cool

Was 1952 - 1953 the only other years beside the current where they had these calendar girls or did they do it every year.

      Do you know?

Ah, the good ol day's Wish I was around to have experienced them.

March of '53 seems particularly interesting.

Did ya notice they all had legs like dancers, real muscles, fairly small chested, in other words, realistic, not barbie dolls. Me likey-likey.

You know you're getting old when you are checking out the tools more than the girls.
