  • Allow 11 minutes, worth every second

This brought a tear to my eye I don't mind telling you, please read and watch the
    video.

To everyone who is still there, I pray you stay safe and come home in one piece.
To everyone one of us here at home, I ask you to support our troops where ever
they may be in the world, we can't do enough for them to repay the sacrifices they
and their families have made over the years.

SS Beale, I salute you and all who have given their lives for our great country!

    Bob D.

Killed in action the week before, the body of *Staff Sergeant First Class
John C. Beale* was returned to Falcon Field in Peachtree City , Georgia ,
just south of Atlanta , on June 11, 2009. The Henry County Police Department
escorted the procession to the funeral home in McDonough , Georgia . A
simple notice in local papers indicated the road route to be taken and the
approximate time. This was filmed during the procession by a State Trooper.

"When we build let us think we build forever. Let it not be for present delight nor for present use alone. Let it be such work that our descendants will thank us for, and let us think, as we lay stone upon stone, that a time is to come when these stones will be held sacred because our hands have touched them, and that men will say, as they look upon the labor and wrought substance of them, "See! This our fathers did for us."

Thanks Bob, couldn't watch it. Lasted 20 seconds, seen it too many times in person.

Thanks for sharing that very poignant video Bob. Would be that all those who have fallen in the defense of their country could have received such a moving final homecoming.

        I know Ben, I'm sorry.

It's more for those who have trouble fathoming the real cost of going to war.

A price that brave men and women have willingly paid since the first shots were fired in the revolutionary war, bringing freedom to not only the fortunate people of this nation, but countless others as well. If America stands for nothing else, first and foremost America stands for freedom. God bless the fine men and women of the armed services and all those that willingly support them.
