That's it? Where's the romance? Brenda is still my bride after 38 years, 7 months, 30 days, 22 hours and 48 minutes.

          I made it home

The trip from DC to Chicago was smooth. Got on the plane in Chicago ready to be home, taxi-ed on the runway and then the Captain comes on the speaker and says we have to go back to the gate because of a medical emergency. When we arrived paramedics came on the plane. As a precaution the woman was taken off the plane. Then, the Captain comes on plane to say we used the allotted taxi fuel already. So we had to wait for 1500 pounds of fuel.

Rick pulled up just as I walked out of the airport. We had dinner at Islands and then sat for a while to listen to a band playing at the little center we were at.

Crack send me your address so I can mail you my metro card. It still has $10 on it!

Thanks for he update that you made it home. This afternoon-evening Mama Nature was throwing more nasty temper fits. Be glad you got away before then.

My friend said the storm started to hit right after I left. I was lucky for sure.
