You have to love YouTube. I was playing around looking at Rat Rods and one thing led to another and I found a video of a restored Muntz Jet.

For those of you who do not know who Earl "Madman" Muntz was here is a link about him.

This is the guy who made the American Dream a reality.

When he first invented the 4-track stereo he opened a store on Roscoe Blvd., right at the 405 on ramp in the San Fernando Valley. The store was a couple block from my High School and right across the street from the Dennys restaurant where I started working at my 16th Birthday. The store was unusual because the side of the store facing the street was floor to ceiling glass and the sales girls had their back sides to the glass while they were working the counter. All of the sales girls were beautiful and scantily clad in mini-skirts and high heels. Boy you talk about a traffic jam in front of the store. The first money I earned I bought a 4 & 8 track player for my car and soon after added a home unit for my room. It funny when you think back at the people and experiences that made us who we are.
