I like that, reminds me of my Grandmother(RIP). Vodka screwdriver in her left hand, a pleasant smile, many nods of agreement. Yet she never had a clue what we were talking about.

This debate makes for a nice read. You two are very well spoken and offer some interesting points of view.
I too have an opinion, that I do not wish to share, but I would like to say it's nice to read a debate among such opposites remain civil.
i am commanded to be civil and if what i say is so i would have to violate my own conception of the world in order to not be so.

thanks for the applause. and thank G_D my wife is deaf.

Nothing wrong with your picture or humor, I'm dealing with some chronic pain and personal problems which make it difficult to stay lighthearted at times. I have written some humorous posts, I just have to get a handle on a few things. If I'm not mistaken I have seen one of your catalogs years ago when I worked at the Telephone Co. in The Bronx. Pretty sure it rang a bell?
yes that would have been a likely place to see the black book.

      chronic pain sucks.

      be well.

      call me if you like.

it takes great strength to have an opinion and not share it. i am working on that and, again, thank G_D my wife is deaf.
