Re: Most Annoying Conversational Word or Phrase

For years--decades actually, I have taken it upon myself to use "IRregardless to the fact...." at every opportunity because it bothers so many people. Strictly to be irritating! Works on Moms, teachers, girlfriends, bosses, wives, sisters...mostly women I've noticed.

Also, if I can start a sentence with "I, myself, personally? For me it had to be...." I will do it.

Also "We don't want nothing to happen to nobody."

I think the tru downfall of English as we no it will be the txt abbreviations. What they will do 2 the language will be irreversible, bet ur seeing it already.

My first foreman HATED it when people said"tuna-fish" as opposed to tuna-dog? he'd ask. So I often reported eating tuna-fish casserole with pasta-noodles.

Ask anyone in the military and they will tell probably the same thing. "Behoove". Drives me insane.

Lately, I have been fed up with the meaningless and misleading: "yes, we can".

"I KNOW, RIGHT?" another one guaranteed to make any teenager irregardless of hair color, appear unintelligent at the end of the day. I guess it is what it is...
