        Black Iron Of The Night

It's still in the making but it will be one very special movie once ready for release to theatres. The problem is when.
This may happen within 5 years and then it may not happen for another 25.

I can hint that it's both educational and historic. Us that can remember things from the past will love this movie
and the younger generation can learn many valuable things plus see how it was done some time ago.

that movie can be seen by all people for free no less. but the theater is closed until the mind is opened.

I don't know if it is considered a great movie or not but The Grapes of Wrath is a classic movie for me.

too many different genres and choices to just have 1 favorite. but in the sci-fi department it would have to be The Day The Earth Stood Still, followed, in no special order, with 2001 (I'm sorry Dave, I can't allow you to do that), Roller Blade (It never was meant to be a game), & Blade Runner. there are dozens of others but these are my favorites.

i'd also put Max Headroom in there but it really wasn't a movie

                              Omg,

                              I can't believe I'm going there.

You'll all think I'm gay, or something like it (but ickier); I'm the only man I've ever known who can even sit though it, let alone enjoy it, let alone think it something special...

                              Age of Innocence.
This is my reminder to myself that no good will ever come from discussing politics or religion with anyone, ever.

                                close seconds for me are
                                (peviously mentioned )

                                Holy Grail
                                Die Hard

                                and (unmentioned)
Blues Brothers (best car chase, and you've got to love, just everything; Jake and his ex's (omg! Carrie Fisher!) dynamic, Elwood and (!... what genius !) Twiggy
                                Brazil (Brilliant!)
Five Monkeys (I Don't Hate Brad Pitt, I Just Envy Him) (AND I'm willing to forgive Bruce Wilis that horrific detective show he did)
The Cell (for the cinematography alone, if nothing else)
Night of the Living Dead (for inspiring an entirely new genre, if nothing else)
28 Weeks Later (for taking it to the next level)
any of the Resident Evil films (because Ms. Jovovich is just too hot, and any chick that hot just SHOULD kick *** like that, and because I love undead fleash eating zombies)
The Matrix (Keanu head bobbles aside)
And, of course, Gone With the Wind.

(and Wizard of Oz, and Winnie-The-Pooh, etc, etc, etc.)
This is my reminder to myself that no good will ever come from discussing politics or religion with anyone, ever.
