So are you saying running out of time to do what you want motivates you?
Or running out of time to complete what you want?
And stay away from N.C. girls. I didn't go grabbing on Ashley Judd.
I'm a man! I'm 40!~
No one on this earth is promised one day, not one day of good health.
I'm very thankful to have the 40 years I've been given so far, I highly doubt there's another 40 years ahead of me. If it does it involves wheels and bedpans.
At my age I'm starting to feel like an oddity in a customer's home, working on sinks/faucets...everything. 40 isn't old but 40 surely makes you want to start using your head instead of your hands....because we all know where this profession takes us in the end. It's extremely hard on the body, and I'm coming from a generation that has only taken out cast iron, rarely install it. Those guys are by far in worse health if they are even still alive.
I have to work under the mentality the hammer will drop sooner than later, regardless of how long I've been working this hard.
Even though I work every day, I feel that I'm lazy of sorts. Strange statement but I like the full throttle mode the best where life just passes you by. I'm cool with that. Everything is a snippet of memory anyway.
So my motivation is being right where I need to go...up.
No criticism for any answers. Just looking into others' inspirations.
This is a hard one because most of us do what we do without thinking about why we are doing it.
Religion - I believe understanding consequences drives some to be mindful of how they treat others. While that is a feel good response I believe I would still treat others right regardless of Religion because that is who I hope I am in my heart.
Family - Without a doubt I feel my family is my biggest responsibility and why I do many of the things I have done.
Money - Yes it is important but it is not that important to me as long as my family can survive.
Whatever - This covers all of the rest and the fact I love what I do and I always want to know more.
