  • My Mom The Boss of Our Company

Well many of you know my mom had a heart valve replaced. Here is a little update. They moved her from the ICU to a normal room and have her walking around. The surgery went well, and she is in good spirits. They thing they will be sending her home by this weekend.

Thank god, I can't handle her part of the business, trying to figure out who gets paid what. I do not know how she does that every day. Those of you that have family members handling the book keeping of your company, make sure they know how much you appreciate how hard their work is and that you are so happy that they do it.

She sounds like a great lady Ron.
Very glad to hear she's doing well to where she is able to spend so much more time with those that appreciate her.

Keep her in good spirits and infection free and she'll do fine. Her job is very crucial/stressful so hopefully she's not thinking about what's waiting for her when she gets back on ship.

My dad had a heart valve replaced with a pig valve a couple of years ago.

other than the occasional urge to root in the mud and chew on everything in sight, he says it's the best thing he ever did.

I wish your mother a speedy recovery.

I forced myself to learn some of the basics of the books for this very reason. I'm still somewhat lost, but I now stand a chance of figuring it out.

Now if I could just get my wife to run a service truck, we'd be all set.

They are sending my mom home in the morning. She is not coming straight home though. She is going to stay at my sister's house for a few weeks till she gets her strength back.

Thank you everyone for the good thoughts and prayers.
