  • "Historic Storm"

I don't know whether to laugh or get mad at that description of tommorow's predicted snow storm for the northeast? Six to twelve inches of snow now qualifies as "historic", as the News stations try and stir up a frenzy of concern nearing panic. A visit to any of our food stores and one would think folks are preparing for Armageddon.
I think I'm prepared, fridge is packed solid and pantry doors can hardly close. Hope that will be enough to see me through until the snow plows clear the roads. I might not be able to get out for a full day, this is scary!

Don't be sorry - if the power goes out it would only melt anyway.

By eating it beforehand......well, that's just proper storm planning.

        Frank you rock, as always.

Better run out and get some bread, flashlight batteries and of course some of that bottled water...

Isn't that what the Weather Channel says to do?

I still haven't figured out why though...
But sure enough people do it...
They empty the shelves every time!

I wonder if we can get the Weather Channel to start saying oh no a blizzard is coming better call a plumber and get all your plumbing fixed...

How much would they charge us to start saying that?

Don't laugh, they have folks so stirred up I'll bet it would work!
I just saw on TV that they named it "winter Storm Barbara". Does anyone know if this is a first? I never heard of a winter storm being named. Just keeps getting more ridiculous.
