    YAY - I got to cook 2 days ago Mmmmmmm wings and steak,

    Post your action shots if you have a nice grill (probably way nicer then mine )

    here are some action shots, I just bought this new weber as well, my grill before wore out, also a weber but like many years old,

    Anyhow , on with the action shots

    Here's my new Weber Grill I just got, I start with some charcoal and then use soaked wood hickory chucks to slow cook the wings for 4.5 hours ...MMMMM so so good ;-)






    Here's Joseph Jr learning how to grill like dad.




    These are my BBQ flavor style. I also cook hot ones as well, I will post some pictures when I do those

    Yum, it all looks so scrumptious!

    A short recipe to go along with those pictures will be much appreciated by all.
    My Weber is a propane Q-Grill, It's still too rainy and windy in my neck of the woods to enjoy an outdoor cooked meal.

        I smoke the wings for 4 .5 hours with indirect heat using hardwood. This cooks them down while making them nice and tender.

        After about 4.5 hours dunk them all in BBQ sauce loaded with brown sugar and add a bit more wood to the fire to get it nice and hot and then I use that heat to create a nice tasty crust on the wings(bark).

        Then after they all all crisped up, I re dunk them in sauce and smoke for another 10 minutes to get a bit more taste in the sauce.

        Then after all that I take them all off the grill.

        The whole process takes me about 6 hours in total to make them,

        As for the weather, ya, I BBQ in all seasons

            I like it cold, but wind & rain can put a damper on things. Today turned out to be the best day we've had all year, perfect for outdoor grilling.

                          Can you please tell me how you do this

                          How many hours do you smoke the pork butts?

                          Is the pork but the best part to use for pulled pork?

                          Also once they are done, how do you chop and mix the sauce?

                          Also would you share the sauce recipe ingredients?

                          I am looking to learn how to make pulled pork sandwiches

                            I used this recipe two weeks ago and the pork was awesome. Grabbed some pork shoulders(another name for pork butt) and they took about 2 hours a pound on my heat setting.

                            I had two 4 pound hunks - I bought a roast and separated it, trimmed the fat, rubbed it, left it for two days and let it go.

                            It was around 36F out, so that may have impacted cooking time as well.

                            I used hickory chips on a gas grill, indirect heat set up with water pan.

                            It's awesome and cheap - I got the pork for 99 cents a pound - might be even cheaper in your neck of the woods.

                            Would be perfect with some good slaw and some BBQ baked beans........
