I think it will be interesting for both parties come voting time.

Now that The average person is beginning to wake up and open their eyes to what is going on, perhaps we will see some REAL change.

How long do you think the GOP will last?

I'll give them 2 years and they'll be thrown out.

Maybe a revolving door in Congress is a good thing.

I agree that it will be a revolving door if the electorate refuses to re-elect a party that does not follow the will of the people. I don't think it will be a good thing if parties use that time in power to pass damaging legislation, and work the system knowing they will not be in office the next go around.

I had hoped for change when I voted for Obama and the dems, but what I got was the same sweetheart washington deals, bullying, lies and corruption that comes with being in power. I doubt electing republicans will change a dam thing, but I can't stay with a party that ignores the will of the people. Will either party fix our economy and secure our borders?

We were promised green jobs and alternative energy, but the "made in America only" clause was left out of a very important piece of legislation, so the solar panels and windmill parts are made in communist china and elsewhere. Why can't our government, democratic, or republican get it right?

          jon,
I think you'll see that nearly all tools made these days are either made, or have many parts manufactured in places outside the US. If you want a US made product, I suggest you go out and buy a Toyota Camry.

CRAP - I will work for $10 an hour just so I know that my brother are using American goods ;-)

Or is labor cheaper where the Seesnake components are made?

Nice image. Of course the republican party is not averse to resorting to strong language like this when they don't get their way.

I'm sure Steele, Rove and the rest of the RNC party members over at FOX News can't wait to tell voters in November why no pre-existing conditions, life time caps, recession and coverage for children till age 26 is not only a bad thing, but anti-American.

The RNC cares more about rebuilding Iraq and Afghanistan than taking care of our fellow Americans. They would rather see trillions spent overseas in the middle east than here at home, under the guise of national security.

Yeah, November will be interesting. Especially if the petulant teabaggers don't get their way. I'm confident that gun violence is not beyond their will or means.

I'm willing to give the ruling party a few more years, before I condemn them.

I think it's been pointed out many times by different people about the displeasure of tools made overseas carrying the Ridgid brand.

Silly, maybe to a certain extent. I've often said that much of this is "therapy" more than resolution.

However, I have no doubt that the Forum has been one of the least expensive methods for research and development that Emerson/Ridgid could ever find.

Think about it, purchase inexpensive software & rights from vbulletin, get it churning, and just watch as the end users give all the information so that you can create and refine your products for maximum profitability. Genius!

                    Josh deserves another raise....

I'm an independent. The republicans had their chance to address the concerns of the average citizen. How many republicans are sitting in federal prison today?

This nation was in a economic free fall a year ago. It took years to get to this place and blame is being placed on those charged with undoing the irresponsible decisions made in the past eight years. Two wars, two tax cuts and Medicare Plan D. How did the republicans pay for these? Credit card. Did they even bother to demand that the wars be put in the budget? Nope.

The repubs have nothing to offer. Nothing. Look at the language they use. Dead man, armagedon, death panels, socialism, communism.

I stand against any one that is a corporatist. K Street repubs should be in prison. C Street politicians should be kicked out of congress. Texas school board should be protested.

I stand for what what benefits the greatest number. I do not subscribe to the philosophy of a rising tide raises all boats because it doesn't raise all boats equally. Look at all those tax cuts for the wealthiest of the wealthy that was suppose to create jobs. Not one single job was created in eight years of republican rule. What credibility to they bring to the table? More tax cuts?

I'm willing to give someone else a chance to fix this mess. And I'm willing to give them more than 14 months.

It's all about power. This includes reelection which is continuation of power. Either party will gladly carry this country to Hell in a handbasket provided that they get to carry the basket. Power for the party and country be damned!

I'm for jobs for Americans, alternative energy, secure borders, fair but swift resolution for the illegals, flat taxes. I'm against bailouts, worthless stimulus, war, more loans, sweetheart deals in washington and politics as usual.

I'm willing and hopeful to see something different from the democrats and President Obama, but so far I have not seen anything but more of the same we got from the republicans.
