  • Fake or Real Christmas tree

we have had a real tree for 22 years
and the price has gone up a lot over the years
for a 7ft tree you could pay $50 to $100 depending on the type
but it is nice to have a real tree and the smell is much better then a fake one

We have had a fake tree for years but it has to do more with how long the tree is up.

Re: Fake or Real Christmas tree

We've had a fake tree for twenty six years, and although they have looked nice there is nothing like a real tree. Several reasons we did not have a real tree are cost, fire hazard, cleanup and disposal.

I'm waiting for someone to invent the holographic Christmas tree. Flip a switch and shazam, instant tree...... might as well go for holographic presents under it at the same time. Bah Humbug.

We always had a larger fake christmas tree. There's a smaller one now.

Re: Fake or Real Christmas tree

When it comes to a real christmas tree I see Chevy Chase going out to cut one done and when he gets home and unties it it is bigger than he thought and nearly takes up the whole room.
No I like the plastic ones they smell better and can be used over and over again

I love that movie! I have to watch it every year.

We have a fake tree. My wife is alergic to the real ones. I would love to have a real one though.

Re: Fake or Real Christmas tree

We'll get a real one. The question right now is if we'll spend the extra money to get a local one or get a pre-cut one.

Artificial trees are generally made overseas. Live trees are going to be North American.

                      fake here, easy and fast.

one year we made our own. it was a tumble weed tree.

i made a frame of copper then we stacked tumbleweed them painted it green. it turned out really cool.

Re: Fake or Real Christmas tree

I once came accross a fake tree that was made of wood.

Just think about just how wrong that statement is, however true.
