Re: Traditional Italian Christmas Eve Dinner

    Hawk,

Way to go, everything looks (and I'm sure, tastes) great. I married into an Italian family 44 years ago, and I sure don't have to tell you that it brightened my Christmas forever.

    Merry Christmas,

    CWS

Baking cookies is a tradtion that we have shared with the kids. We always helped mom bake and frost sugar cookies and I do it with my daughter.

Now that she's older (nearly an adult) we have been sharing our tradition with her cousins kids.

As much of a pain in the butt it is, it's also a bunch of fun!

Based on sticking with the theme of Baylee's party I am guessing Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans with Butterbeer.

My grandmother was not Italian but my grandfather is and my grandmother picked up the tradition fast ,and she was very good at cooking it

when my grandmother past away my mom picked up the tradition and some of the food changed a little but was still very good

So now when my mother past years ago i now do the fish dinner and we also changed what fish we eat ,although i wish i could have my grandmothers dishes one more time

              to start we are having
Course #1 crab and artichoke dip
Course #2 Sea food salad on crackers
Course #3 shrimp on the grill with garlic and butter
              Maine Course is
              Breaded shrimp
              Tilapia grilled with seasoning
              Backed clams
Spaghetti with oil ,garlic and clams
for others Chicken and Mac and Cheese

this should be a good dinner
