Snow really dresses up the scenery. We are expecting over a foot today here in CT. I love a good strong storm, "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow"

Got over twenty inches, cleared about eight yesterday and woke up to the rest. Just took some pain meds for my back. I love the snow and storms in general, but my whole body hurts. No fun getting old.

                  Re: Snow 2010...

We got about 12 inches, which should be gone in a day or two since the temps are forecast to go into the 40s by new years.

My new snowblower worked great. There were high winds that created some 2 and 3 foot drifts, the snowblower on the tractor punched right through them throwing the snow over 40 feet in a big stream. when i finished my drive i went and helped the neighbors. i even widened the narrow path the township had cut down our street by about 8 feet to make it wide enough for two cars to pass comfortably.

The storm that hit the east coast was the same one that caused all the trouble for Rick and Friends in the Southwest, at least that what the WX people were saying last night on the news. The minimum central pressure of the storm was very low, the equivalent of a Cat 3 hurricane, many areas recorded winds gusts over 60 mph. The eye of the storm was about 100 miles off the coast, had it been closer to shore PA would have been hit a lot harder than they were.

I gave the wife a new digital camera for Christmas, do ya think she would take some video of me using the new snowblower? Didn't happen.

Bob, I'm gonna get in trouble here for generalizing but... I found that most women are not that good with mechanical things or electronics. My wife for example required a lot of patient instruction on my part to master programing our vcr, or using the digital camera or camcorder. Your wife may be different, but I'd like to suggest something. Maybe two or three times a week, ask her to take a few pictures of you, or a little video of you around the house. She will become more familiar with the camera, and more prepared to use it for those special events like the snow storm. For years, I took the pictures and video, it was not until I backed off that my wife stepped up and became more involved. What do you think?

computers, digital cameras? no, she has no trouble with those. this is her second digital camera, i got her the last one about 5 years ago and she uses it regularly for stills and video. she may not be up to speed on the new camera yet, but I'll bet it won't be long.

she was probably busy with one of her hobbies that day and didn't even know I was out there having fun with the snowblower.

Dog house? I live in the dog house, so a photo of me there should be easy.

This is not me, it is the same snowblower I have but my tractor is a X534 and the one in this video is a X540.
