  • Responding to power tool surveys

Do you usually do this or just click on past? I usually can't resist. The latest one (from Dewalt) focused on air chisels. They seem to be looking at features that a buyer would consider important and/or be willing to pay more for. We used air chisels a lot in my machine shop, and they are obviously a staple for exhaust system work and welding shops. But I don't use mine more than once or twice a year at home.

Do you all find air chisels to be useful? Maybe I'm missing an important application.

For the last question on the survey - "additional comments" - I made sure to say that I would only consider MADE IN USA and would be happy to pay extra for that. Also said that if MADE IN USA was not an option, I would buy used USA before I would get an import. I know that some don't share my conviction on the import v. USA issue, but if you do, these tool surveys are a great way to let the marketing department know your preferences.
