    Re: windows recovery virus

I think I've done well avoiding viruses. The computer is 5 years old and hasn't had any protection for 4 years.

Well I believe the virus is gone but I'm trying to change the settings back like they were. The virus likes to mark all your files as hidden. So I had to download a program to "Unhide" all my files. Thats the name of the free software "Unhide" Its running now. So I recoverd all my pics and now I;m just trying to restore it back all the way since I'm having sucess now.

Porn sites are as American as apple pie. You don't see porn in all them muslim countries so it's got to be a sign of freedom! God Bless America! I believe the porn sites actually protect my computer.

Ok all things are good now wit the old timer.. So I will send everyone a thank you email with an attachment ...just click on it Thanks again!

Its working great now and all files are saved. I learned that you need two computers so if one gets sick you can repair it with the other one or research whats wrong.

Next time you think you have a virus, the first thing to try is a system restore. Just going back a day might be all it takes.

Yes I have found that works well to resolve some issues but it didn't work for me this time around.

The next best thing is a IDE/Sata bla bla cable. It will allow you to hook your hard drive up to another computers usb port. Then you can run Avast and Malwarebytes without the virus interacting with windows. I have done this for several friends that got the phony anti virus... virus. It makes it all go away.
