now is this the way it looks or places to stop at if it is a nice looking drive then i may do this one
The last time I did the I-70 I was on a motorcycle. I left Kansas City with a 40 MPH cross wind in 107 degree weather. A little over 600-miles later I pulled into Denver both sun and wind burned. The next morning I noticed bald spots on my rear tire from the heat. I never need to see that stretch of highway again.

I have to agree with Mark. That stretch from Kansas City to Denver is awful. It is undoubtedly the loneliest road that I have ever been on. I drove from Athens Ga to Medford Oregon in five days over Thanksgiving and the second leg of the trip, St. Louis Missouri to Colby Kansas, was a long, long ride. I don't know about the I-80 route but it couldn't be any worse than that route.
