My table saw quit on me while making a cut. I hit the reset button on the motor, it starts for a second and then quits again. not a blown breaker, not the cord its new. any ideas?

Take the belt off & see if it blows then. If doesn't check the alignment. You can also try putting a new thermal breaker on the motor. Or your motor just might be toast.

Even though the cord is new I would still consider testing by undoing the connection at the switch and adding a temporary cord to see what reaction the saw has. The same with the connections at the motor. It's just a matter of troubleshooting and eliminating possibilities until you find the problem. Good luck.

BTW I have the same saw, its a good one.
