  • Man do I, do it all

Tomorrow morn I start sandblasting a huge very old steam locomotive bell in My shop. Actually the bell keeps it's old patina [brass] . I am doing the Yoke and parts. Weld in some missing skirt pieces. prime and paint. I love the variety of crazy projects.
I can build anything You want , if you draw a picture of it , on the back of a big enough check .

The fun only lasts about 5 minutes, then it becomes tedious, hot miserable work

I bought it years ago for woodwork. I also have a glass door to do with a beach scene, for our bedroom. Did a nice glass door for Beth's sewing and craft room. Mountain ridge, with full moon.

Got side tracked, finished it today. It's off an old lumber train approx. 120 years old. Whole assembly must weigh about 400 lbs. Same bell as on the Ca. skunk train. Called Adam in a tent at Mammoth, and rang it for Him . Also Jerry Mac. Hate to give it back!
