Customer simply explained that he has worn it on his hip for years and was not thinking about having a knife. Security continued to hasel him for about 10 minutes.....finally my customer told security that they were A-holes and to arrest him or let him go put his knife in his truck so he can get the money and go home. They escorted him to his truck and back into the building. So they in the end didn't do anything. They might could have arrested him,I'm sure they could have but it wouldn't have went over to well on the news and in the court of public opinion. The guy was a decorated war vet.

Just curious if you have ever forgot and was hassled about a knife....?
I worked in a couple court houses and they told us upfront no pocket knives. We could either take them back to the truck or leave them in a wire basket with the guard. I don't blame them, family court has emotions running high, no place for weapons.

I'm surprised Adam hasn't jumped in on the pocket knife talk_he got his taken away at an amusement park.

I have a Japanese version of the ceramic knife-it is so darn sharp I'm scared to use it!

Funny you should mention that. Just last week in fact. District court house. forgot it was on my belt, but then, it's always on my belt. They were nice about it and gave it back though.
