  • Home From Afghanistan!

My son made it back to the States today from Afghanistan. His youngest was born just as he was leaving so he has some catching up to do.

                  Terrific news Mark!!!

His service is greatly appreciated. The man deserves to be home and certainly there can be no greater joy than having him here and especially with a new baby to greet him.

Congratulations to you and your wife too, as you obviously have a new grandchild too! Double joy!

Glad he made it home safe Mark.

I have one SIL who is still in harms way from time to time.
He can take care of himself but we still worry.

I can sure see why a father would be proud of that guy Mark. An officer and a gentleman. I bet he makes his mom glow when he comes home and treats her like a queen. All the best to you and your proud family. Well done sir.

Heh, for all the guys that made it home, I like to believe I probably came accross them in passing, and not even know it as I'm performing my usual day-to-day construction projects over here.
Hell, if I remember right, one of them mentioned here is a helicopter pilot. There is a slight chance he escorted the chinook I was on.

He was the Brigade Operation Officer in Charge so if you were on a helicopter he probably had something to do with it. Are you home now or still over there? Either way, thanks for your service.
