  • Occupy Wall Street "Protest within Protest"

You can't make this stuff up!

Occupy Wall Street kitchen slowdown targets squatters - NYPOST.com

So they want the homeless people weeded out from the "REAL" protesters? It seems the homeless are taking advantage of the upscale meals being feed to the "REAL" protesters. What happened to their Socialist message? Doing a quick Google it looks like this is happening all over the Country. You know the old saying "..be careful what you wish for.."

"For three days beginning tomorrow, the cooks will serve only brown rice and other spartan grub instead of the usual menu of organic chicken and vegetables, spaghetti bolognese, and roasted beet and sheep’s-milk-cheese salad. "

I am thinking of taking out the wife out to eat at a protest. Not sure if we should make reservations.

In my opinion nothing but distractions in the form of an entertaining side show. There are probably folks protesting who sincerely care that things have gone too far. Some of them want to give what's there's and ours away to fix the problems, others may just want things to make sense again. I don't like what I've seen over the years with more and more homeless able bodied people wandering the streets as if America were some third world slum. I also don't like all the white collar criminals who stole from hard working folks . Our government dipped into social security and went into debt with foreign countries never stopping to think how it would impact us or future generations. These protests are disturbing to watch and I'm sure no fun to live near, but what about America? When does the media start covering our legislators in depth and find out what the heck they are doing with their time other than running for office? Like I tell my daughters, the clock is ticking... Who will save our economy which has been dying for years? We can't assume because we as individuals are working and functioning that our society is healthy. The parks are not for daily living by protestors or the homeless. Now the problems either get fixed, or we keep buying flat screen tvs, ipads and the rest of the garbage to watch nightmare unfold.

I can't believe that Freedom Plaza in the nations capital has been turned into a refugee tent city. I can't afford the $400 per night they want at the Capital Hilton across the street but any Jack wagon can pitch a tent on some green space and have meals delivered for nothing.

I can't wait until police chief Cathy Lanier has had enough of these hippies and gives them all wooden shampoos and sprays them down with a fire hose.

Gawd! I sound just like my old man :/

Okay with Bill's help I have figured out how to send the OWS protesters packing. Leave them to their protesting and bus in as many homeless people as you can find. Next all of the residents who are being kept up all night should join in and have a giant block party during the day. The important part is the residents must partake of all of the free amenities offered to the protesters (IE gourmet foods).

The block party should be as loud as possible to prevent protesters from sleeping. Keep it up until a couple of hours after dinner. Then when the temperatures start to drop, the residents excuse themselves and return to their nice warm homes. While the residents are snug as bugs in a rug the sleepless protesters will be freezing their backsides off. The Socialist protesters will have to try to sleep with one eye open due to their anti-SOCIAL(IST) attitude towards the homeless. Soon the benefactors will tire of feeding everyone in the downtown area and the amenities will fade away.

By the way, any of the residents, homeless people or protesters who get sick while visiting the encampment should sue the caterers, the benefactors and the owners of the park. I guarantee none of them are covered or have permits for what is going on down there.

This is soo typical of the Mickey Moore crowd. Pigs at the troth for themselves , nothing shared for the piglets down troth. Of course,if the Farmer wants to pay for the piglets slop ,that's OK.

I saw a report this morning where the Tea Party is asking the city of Richmond Virginia for a $10,0000 refund. That is what the Tea Party had to pay to use the same space that the Occupy Wall Street crowd is now using. Unlike the people from Occupy Wallstreet the Tea Party was required to pay for Police, porta-potties and a one million dollar insurance policy.

I heard that as well. It's funny how the Tea Party was vilified by the White House while they stayed within the law yet OWS is supported by the White House while they continue to break the law.

In plain easy to understand words! Now that all the confusion is over we can work on fixing the problem.
Get rid of homeland security, restore serenity, and something about the young people? Well, I'm still working on parts of it.
Please, for the love of God, don't tell me she's a Union person! I have to go organize my canned goods and bullets now. Frank
