What would Rick & Joey know, they're taking Phoebe there next week for the first time.

funny you should ask as we just booked this morning the hotel in carlsbad/ legoland for the end of april. our anniversary and phoebe's first theme park. now if they ever open up an elmoland, we would be all over that as phoebe is into elmo and the gang.

been there once before with some friends kids. should be a lot more fun with phoebe.

san diego is pretty close and worth the trip, especially if you go to the wild animal park, seaworld and a padre game at petco park.

I will say, it seems as though California always has a Plumbing expo going on, and over here on the dark side we have nothing. The last expo I went to was in Atlantic City, New Jersey like 7 years ago. I'm either missing them or our supply houses are not informing us on them.
of course you can. i'm sure adam and i can put you to some good use

ohio is a lot closer to you than us. we've been there a few times now.

Let me know what ya think, the wife and I are kind of lego geeks, so thought it might be a fun trip. She has legos on her desk at work.

You were there? So was I, but probably not the same day or time.
I live only 40 miles from Ac and have worked there on many projects over the years.
Also did my apprenticeship working for a plumbing shop which was located in AC at the time (70s).

If I'm correct Bob, I think I was there on a Friday and I forget which hotel/casino it was in.

That was the day I first saw a Powermate stair climber, and since then, for the last 6 years they have called trying to sell one to us. After 6 years we gave in and finally bought one because of that Plumbing expo.

My wife is from Washington Township N.J. ...so I'm constantly over there to see my in-laws.

Jersey is one of the toughest Plumbing licenses to get in the country...I should know...I failed it once even though I went to Lower Bucks (PA) for the National Standard Plumbing Code in the mid 90's. After I was done feeling insulted, I started to laugh cause I thought there was "No way" I failed. Personally I think it was politics, and me getting into an argument with the women on the New Jersey Plumbing board didn't help matters either. I got into an argument over my tax returns they wanted from me...I whited out the important numbers, cause I felt it was none of their business, and I got a phone call on that one. She said to me " your tax returns are incomplete"..my reply was "No there not, it's just none of your business how much money I made, and what does this have to do with me taking the Master Plumbers exam?"
