Romney's work at bain is in the past, if he is as good at cutting the budget and working to address our many serious problems, I'll once again vote for change. Let's see if the democrats work with Romney if elected.
Frank, there are some things about Romney that are not in line with my views either, but this country is in a total mess right now, and we can't afford 4 more years of this socialist.

Will Democrats work with Romney? Let me put it to you this way....those questions have already been answered if you're paying attention to the news. But the "Machine" didn't like the fact that those Democrats came out and supported Romney on Bain.

I'll take the business man over the community organizer 10 times out of 10 and twice on Sunday.

Flux, I did not expect miracles from President Obama, but I cannot accept where we are now. I have yet to hear any remaining Obama supporters explain what he will accomplish if reelected. I am less fearful of any objectionable things Romney will do, than any positive things he may succeed in changing. His business with bain was a dirty one but he did what he was hired to do, even though it cost jobs and caused hurt. What has President Obama done to gain praise? The grand motivational speeches did nothing to create jobs, taxpayer money to his pet companies disappeared without investigation. Those solyndra terrorists should have been waterboarded, they hurt America and got away with it. I guess I was out of line when I criticized President Bush and now that I'm doing the same of President Obama I'm no better? Why is it if we don't do a satisfactory job we don't get paid or get in trouble and the same does not hold true for our elected officials? Why do we have to choose between the lesser of two evils to run our country?

I don't think it would take the Son of God to keep some campaign promises, just an honest man. Forget that, there are no plumbers running for President!

The sad part is, a lot of those same dopes will pull the lever again for him in November.

You guys entertain me so much playing "my crook is better than your crook" when essentially they are all pretty much crooks. Obama this and Bush that and while we're at it let's drag Bush Sr. and Clinton into it and hell didn't Jimmy Carter screw the pooch? Here's a bit of history. Remember when Reagan took a faltering economy and turned it around? The Democrats were fit to be tied. Called Reagan the dumbest president in history and now he's revered by democrats and republicans alike for his "fiscal responsibility" Ok so if what Reagan did was so marvelous, why are we here 30 short years later? Can any of you conservatives tell me one thing, just one single thing that conservative policies have done to better anyone other than the rich and big business? There must be something....right? The so called conservative movement is nothing of the sort. Their idea of conservatism is a far cry from what real conservatism is. The libertarian party is closer to conservative than the republican party is

You're generalizing the word "conservative" and assuming it equals being a Republican.

I don't see where any of these terms or labels matter! President Regan did not have our illegal population receiving expensive, modern healthcare ,and college tuition! He did not have the loss of businesses, and jobs we now have and the defict or trade imbalance. Heck, we had an economy that could be salvaged.

Seriously, does anyone consider what it would take to pay down sixteen trillion dollars, with our gov't overspending, entitlements, unemployment, and the rest of the mess? We are sunk and the billions in fraud from social security disability scammers, to the illegals who file tax returns ,and claim children and relatives living in mexico add up. How many more prisons will be built to house gang members who conduct more business while incarcerated than while free? Where would Regan even begin to take control of this fiasco?

Like Sasquatch, the Loch Ness monster, Ancient Aliens and Zombies, 16 trillion dollars does not exist. It is but a figment of the imagination. A number so large as to be impossible.
