    Re: Alarm System

It's not the dog in the fight, it's the fight in the dog! Imagine having this demon staring at you as you break into the truck?

yes, there are apps for Android and other OS phones such as Lookout.
With Lookout you can go to your computer and locate your phone even if you
left the GPS off it will turn it on. Can also take photos using the front camera to
grap a pic of the perp if they are holding the phone. You can lock the phone,
make it scream, wipe all your data off the phone, lots of options for $29/year.

So you could do like Tool says and put an old phone on a shared data plan in your truck
and use it as a tracker. Has no alarm function but if the vehicle goes somewhere without
you then you would have a very good chance of finding it.

I happen to work for LoJack (not in sales) and we just released a new product on March 1st for fleet management. We partnered with TomTom to offer a GPS system, with LoJack that can track driving habits, show live vehicle locations, track fuel consumption, geofencing, etc. You can get more info here: https://www.lojack.com/Construction-...eet-Management

Nice system. Doesn't have coverage in my area.

For security purpose always, go for the latest technology, better get guidance from some van expert. Cannot guide you with any name, but try to go for something that has high sensor so that even a little jolt will inform you.

There are many ways to increase the security of your vans. Electronic GPS trackers, steering locks, locks for the hand brakes and locks for wheel nuts can protect your van. You proper locking system for your van park it in a safer place
