Those of you who own above the ground pools might understand my frustration with how the hoses that go from the skimmer to the pump and filter are being made thinner and cheaper while the price keeps going up! I barely get a season or two out of a hose before if falls apart, so I decided to switch over to nylon reinforced thick walled tubing from home depot. The stuff is difficult to work with but it holds up a long, long time to chlorine and uv rays. Cost is around $3 a foot for inch and a half i.d., and in my opinion well worth the money and time.
