I do not believe that the video you mention was the cause of the Bengazi attack. We all know how these terrorists work and they didn't need the video as an excuse. There was a failure in this incident. BUT exactly what was that failure? In actuality the failure was on many levels, but a major factor was of financial support from a Congress that had been and continues to be obstructing the military, intellegence, and foreign involvements of the present administration.

In spite of what some would make you believe, the Obama administration (as with any administration) cannot move security forces at will for long periods. It has a budget that it must act within. And, like all administrations it does make mistakes too. It juggles and moves assets as it seems best and in that appraisal things don't always work out, mistakes are made, and sometimes that leads to fatalities.

Now, if you want to compare "fatal mistakes" how do you account for the thousands lost in Iraq, with absolutely no gains? No WMD, thousands of new terrorists, the uncountable $Billions, tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians killed, thousands of Americans killed, tens of thousands of American lives disrupted, maimed, families disrupted, divorces, and suicides.

Compared to that I can see how the Republicans and thier supporters would like to focus on Bengazi as much as possible.

We haven't made a "mistake" yet... at least not one where we've committed military assets against Syria.

You can't leave out the Republicans as long as they still obstruct this administrations efforts purely for the sake of obstruction and that is exactly what they have done on almost every level since Obama has taken office. If this administration was a Republican one, we'd have already committed all kinds of military action, just like we have done in every Republican administration of the last few decades.

Besides, are you under the belief that the actions taken by the Bush administration has had NO lasting effects?

I don't agree with a lot of Republican views, but I admire anyone who stands for what they believe in. Democrats want to raise the debt ceiling, Republicans stand by their conservative ideals of not screwing future generations. That is not obstructionism. Democrats want to restrict our 2nd amendment rights, Republicans want to preserve them. That is not obstructionism. Democrats want to increase the tax burden by adding more socialist programs. Republicans want keep our taxes low to ease the burden and promote job growth. that is not obstructionism. Democrat want to take away our freedoms and spy on us. Republicans want to.... Oh wait, they want to do the same thing. All for your "security"

Is it possible that both parties are saturated with hypocrisy and arrogance?

              Yes......it's even likely.

I feel bad for Republicans that can't see it. I feel worse for those that buy into Obama. In spite of the fact that you manage to look down your nose at me while doing it.

You guys all place too much importance on the POTUS. He is but one of the tripod of power. Obama would be dead in the water if not for congress and the Supreme Court.
