  • Beware of Warranty Misinformation

We have recently been made aware of the possibility that "misinformed" DeWalt salesmen have been claiming that the RIDGID three year warranty is going to be reduced to one year soon. They claim that this is posted on the website.

This is not true. There are no plans to change the three year warranty. If anyone tells you differently, please disabuse them of that misinformation. I am double posting this intentionally, since the hoax seems to be targeted to our power tool customers but needs to be disseminated to everyone.

I think the 3 year warranty covers the most important thing to go bad, the batteries? Milwaukee only has one year on batts. if one reads the fine print. Which is why I got the Ridgid in Dec. with lifetime warranty on everything and 20% off at HD. I saw the Milw.18v. batts. for $80 at HD, no thanks, for that price I buy a new drill.
