  • dielectric oil for sump pump

The dielectric oil spilled out of a SP-500 sump pump that I have when I opened the housing (per the trouble shooting section in the Operator's Manual) to clear debris obstructing the impeller.
Any idea where I might get this oil, or is there a common substitute for it that I can safely use to refill the pump? When I've called a couple of hardware stores in the area, they've had no idea where to get dielectric oil (or even what it was).

    Thanks for any help.

I'VE PURCHASED THIS OIL AT MY LOCAL ELECTRIC MOTOR REPAIR SHOP. THEY ALSO SERVICE SUMP PUMPS. BETTER CHECK THE CAPACITY. DON'T OVERFILL.
CHECK IN THE YELLOW PAGES FOR MOTOR REPAIR SHOPS.
