  • TS3650 MAXIMUM WIDTH DADO BLADE

I can't find this documented in the TS-3650 manual. What is the maximum width dado 8" blade that can be used in the TS-3650?

    Thanks!

I've cut 3/4" dados with mine and I'm sure it will do 13/16" which is the max of standard dado sets.

My 3612 can do 13/16" dados, the 3650 should be able to do the same. The 3612 owners manual has this info on page 64, Basic Saw Operations - Dadoing. HTH.

        Check page 66
        Basic Saw Operations (continued)
The dado head is assembled to the saw
arbor in the same manner as the saw
blade. The arbor on the saw, is long
enough so that the widest cut that can be
made is 13/16" wide. It is not necessary to
install the outside loose collar before
screwing on the arbor nut. Make sure the
        arbor nut is tight.
When cutting a “deep” dado or a wide
groove it is necessary to remove only a
small amount of material (1/8"-1/4") at a
time. Continue to increase dado elevation
until the desired depth is reached.
