Women in STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering and Math ) is really becoming a popular interest for schools.

Looks like she is making a great poster girl for the school.

Turned out to be a huge success. must have been 300 parents and kids that showed up. originally planned for a video presentation in 1 classroom, turned into an overflow crowd in the auditorium. Came back to 3 classrooms for the kids to make simple crafted planes and gliders. Then off to the library for the ribbon cutting and another overflow crowd. Helped set up at 4:30 and didn't get home to almost 9.

All but 5 of the books were sold last night.

Even had a chance to fly my drone for the kids. Of course they think it's a toy, until i tell the parents it's 1k.

          Rick.

In our line of work we have the opportunity to meet and work with very talented young designers, engineers and architects. i applaud efforts being made by parents, educators and the business community to get kids involved in these fields, it a great time to be a kid with so many options ahead of her.
