  • Ridgid WD4050 Four gal. Wet/Dry Vac - How to change filter without the "filter nut"

I was using my wet/dry vac yesterday and realized I lost the "filter nut" to remove the filter. I tried with pliers but no luck - any ideas/suggestions?

if the nut is lost then there is basically nothing holding the filter on, I really not understanding the question as stated, may be a picture would help.

Go to Home Depot website type in your model number then down load the manual
go to page 9 and you'll see how to remove and replace the filter....
