    Re: Forum Member Status

Congratulations Garager, nice to see another "senior". However, my suggestion is " 1 to 5 posts=New member"
    " Over 5 posts= Valued member"

Hey, I just noticed I have been promoted to a senior. Can I get that senior discount at HD now?
If at first you don't succeed, try reading the owners manual.

I think it takes 100 posts. I noticed at 101 posts last night. So, how's it feel to be an old timer?

I would suggest the following for the plumbing forum only, I don't think the woodworking weenies would accept this:

We create a board of elders. Their title is GODHEADS. The rest are rated as follows:

                      1) You start off as a "TURDHEAD".

                      2) If you actually have a good point once in a while you are promoted by the council of elders to "TURDPLUNGERS".

                      3) If you want to be promoted at this point you need to post nude pictures of your wife or girlfriend, and send gifts of tools (Ridgid only) to the council of elders.

                      4) If the tools are good, and the pictures are hot, you may by a vote of 3/4 of the members be promoted to "TURD".

                      5) At this point you need to bribe the council and the webmaster. If your bribe is worthy, you become a member of the plumbing council of elders.

                      As always, just my opinion.

By the way, I would not be expected to be a member of the council of elders, because based on the old rating system I think I had a one star rating.

wow what a way to win friends since the wood workers take up about 3/5s of this forum.

                            Rick,

I think you dropped my rating because you rated me zero.

The rating system was useless, and they got rid of it. But thanks for the support, Rick.

zero was not an option, but 1-5 was.

your plumbing knowledge is a 5+

I agree, and I'm not complaining. But when I joined my (and I'm laughing) rating dropped after a post with you. I can only assume you slammed me on the all important rating system.

Hey, I've been working on my people skills, it's just taking some time.
