  • New member & proud owner of TS2400LS. Got question...

I just bought the TS2400LS from HD last night. It's good review + lifetime warranty + the current PowerDeal discount (+ the 10% HD discount) made this purchase unresistable.

I am new newbie in woodworking, about to have some fun (and a lot to learn). I believe this TS will keep me me happy for quite awhile.

I got a question and I wonder if this is a common problem on TS2400LS:
I found that the slot to hold the Blade Guard is VERY VERY loose... so loose that if I'd tilt the TS upright the Blade Guard will be dislodged from the latches (just by tilting it).

Just wonder should I return to HD to exchange for another one ...

I am not understanding your problem. What slot is too loose and what latches are slipping? I can't find either on the gaurd.

The blade guard works perfectly when left on the workbench ! Unless ripping they are a hinderance
