  • new x3 circular saw

    i have an 18v ryobi saw and was wondering how much more power does the x3 saw have over it also how does it compare to a corded saw. thanks

    There are many tests available online. Do a search on Google. Here is one

    No comparison. Corded saws are much more powerful. we like cordless saws for small jobs so we don't have to run cords. Generally18V cordless saws are good for 1X boards and cross cut of 2X, however are challenged for ripping
    2X. Good for up to 3/4" ply.

        That sounds like salesman talk. I have seen a number of 18 volt circ saws operate, including Ridgid, Dewalt, Ryobi and Makita, and none of them will out perform the Ridgid 24V.....Ray
