Wow! Nice pics. Thanks for posting. I always wanted to go to the industrial side, but there isn't a huge market where I'm from. I wasn't willing to travel as well at that time. I was going to go into controls, but I went a different route. I have a friend that moved into industrial work and he loves it. I'm looking to install those isolation valves and relief valve, but nobody seems to want to give me an opinion on them.

and in the first picture on the left side is a hot water heater that has a outer cavity that a boiler loop runs through and heats the domestic water on the in side . there is a relief valve on the domestic side just to be safe

I'm not waiting in the shadows to post on your thread out of respect from another member so you can calm down. I noticed you like to say what a valuable member you are because you've been here almost 2 years longer than me but what have you really done for the forum since you've been here. Plumbdog asked another member what they contribute to the forum, could be anything, not just plumbing. That question reminds me of you. Take a self reflecting look at oneself because you act like a rich, spoiled brat that doesn't get their way. This pm is between the 2 of us and I'm not discussing it with anyone because I'd like to see your attitude change. You posted in the past an electrical problem, then fixed it and posted how you did that. You really had my head scratching on that one so I know you can help the forum in the electrical and hvac (haven't seen this part yet)aspect. If you have time to post on this one thread, you should have time to post and help people in other threads.

This was my PM to fronty. Unfortunantly I deleted his reply but Fronty can post his reply so everyone can see the whole story.
Here is my reply Ben. I'm doing this to help you out. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Like I said KEEP IT TO PM'S.

This is how I replied to his PM.
I tried posting in another thread when a guy had trouble with his hot water heater. I was too late. I pick and choose which threads to respond to. I'm not going to reply to some guy that wants to use wood as his supply plenum. I'm not going to help hacks. You keep with the name calling, but I had no bad intentions from the get go. Look back through the thread. You will see that I was attacked first and then rebutted the comment. For example, if someone says I do not have the mental capacity to do something, I'm going to give them an example of my mental capacity. Thus, I posted that I graduated from college and that I feel I can accomplish this project. You took it out of context like I'm just going around saying, Oh I'm so smart, I know this, I know that. I may say my knowledge in certain areas, but that is only AFTER someone makes a comment like your house is going to burn down. I will then state my electrical knowledge. Do you see where I'm coming from? You're only seeing the things I say and not looking at them in context as a rebuttal to a derogatory remark. The two year member thing was in response to you saying I do not deserve the distinction of a senior member. I have extensive knowledge that I have used to help people in all areas. This is from fixing a TV to installing a zone system. I said that I will help in the future. I just think some of the questions asked here either get answered correctly before I see the post or I feel like I can not help them via the internet.

              WTF....

This thread is like a bad stock that trades like mad, then plummets for a few days......then just when you think it's never coming back.......
I'm on "The List" and I love it!!

                Great Thanks.

Do you recommend this relief valve Watts AP12993C? It is the same one that Rheem recommends for tankless installs. Also, does Webstone make a good isolation valve set?

I remember Drtyhands saying that some may not be as high quality. I found these isolation valves running at around 80 dollars without shipping. I just want to get high quality parts because some people said I bought cheap import gate valves.

in 20 yrs of doing heating systems i never used a gate valve for isolation
all i use is a good ball valve [ watts ] and we do the service on all the jobs we have installed and no complaints from our service dept .
i would have to look up the info on the relief valve but all you need is to make sure the pressure rating is right , the temp and the BTU match the heater .

Webstone makes an excellent valve kit, that is the kit I use. A watts pressure valve is fine, I use them and never have a problem.

Great. I'll order both of them. Thanks WC. I hope Mark, Rick, and you have a great time tomorrow.

At request of multiple members this one needs to be put to bed. I think it has ran its course.
