  • Is this a durham trap?

Is this what you guys keep talking about? I see these all the time here and don't see anyway to run a snake through these.

not a durham trap that i would see.

looks more like a drum trap?

a durham trap is a p trap that is screwed together with durham threaded fittings. almost like that 90 on the outlet of the pictured trap. it's possible to snake a durham trap, it's just a tighter radius.

I'll see if I can bring one to the ridgid challenge, if you can get a cable through this then you got some serious skills.

        Ben,

A lot of people refer to Durham traps as cast traps. They are a very tight patten trap. My guess is as Rick suggest your trap is a form of a drum trap.
