Adding a toilet Lav.,New laundry tray. Ok to dump washer into tray instead, of stand pipe?
That's what I found . Removed old double concrete tray, replaced with plastic.. concrete torn up. Never had an inspector complain about this. I'm reusing some of the old C.I. under the slab with new no hub. Still snaps clean! Why not??? Yea, I'll probably get busted!
I can build anything You want , if you draw a picture of it , on the back of a big enough check .

The tub is fine, and 11/2" works also because the basin allows for the water to puddle up before draining.

the issue lies when the homeowner wants the laundry tray removed and keeps the 1.5'' stub out.

in the old days, all there was, was laundry trays. as washers replaced the trays, and dryers replaced the clothes lines, nobody was replacing the 1.5'' waste with 2'' lines.

with the newer hi efficiency washers, the issue is not bad. it's the older 20 gallon top loaders.
