  • humming or buzzing noise when using the front garden faucet

    Hi,

I have a problem with a front garden faucet, when I turn on the water faucet to water the garden; I can hear the humming or buzzing noise coming from the faucet. This is a 2 story home. It is annoying, how can I stop the buzzing noise when ever I am using this faucet.

    Thanks!

it's either a loose washer in the hose bibb stem or a vacuum breaker that is pulsating. assuming you have an anti siphon vacuum breaker.

does it happen with no hose attached?

Sorry, I will not be able to tell you that until I return there in two weeks.
I will test that out when I am physically there.
