  • 1-1/4" Press Jaws?

As most of you know, I manage the Pressing Tools at RIDGID. I'm always hearing that folks want 1-1/4" Jaws to do boiler work with. Can someone explain to me why this is an important size? What would the additional 1-1/4" jaw allow you to do that you can't do now? Inquiring minds want to know!

    Thanks for your help!

dave, it would be nice to see the 1.25'' jaws fit the 100-b propress. i know that the new swivel jaw does.

for me, 1.25'' is not as popular for domestic potable water.

boilers are not popular here as it's pushing 100 today

I should have something for you soon. And BTW, I wouldn't dream of creating a new jaw that wouldn't retrofit, so your 100-B can keep on pressing!
