  • water up from the outside drain

At my back basement door in Chicago I have a small drain. during the last rain It backed up and flowed into the house. the door is 6 steps down as soon as the rain stopped the water retreated. I was able to keep it at bay with some serious wet vacing. any ideas what I need to do
    thanks

I would get some one to run a camera into the drain. The pipe maybe clogged enough to slow down the drainage but not completely blocked.

It may just need to be snaked or it could be you need repair.

I would start with a snake job,and see if that takes care of the problem.
did it work at one time?
