Didn't you have a professional, licensed installer? They should be able to take care of this. If not, then it may be installed incorrectly.

        here's the manufacturer's web site:

        http://www.htproducts.com/index.html

depending on what type of HW heater you have (solar, electric, indirect, etc.), a manual should be available here. their phone number is also on their home page. good luck.

Yeah... it isn't apparent in the manual.
. Hold the phone... there is no way on the tank. you have to turn up your boiler, or other heat source that it is connected to.
It the ssu60 gets it heat from some other source and transfers it to the water via a heat exchanger in the tank.

          Very efficient
Reduces fuel cost when operated with high
          efficiency boiler.

            WHOA!!

            (woe!!??)

            (I'm canadian)

Contact the installer and tell them the problem.

            ask for someone certified (plumber)

because any (certified) plumber worth his salt,

wouldn't have left you in this predicament.

            Vince

do it right the first time,
or don't do it at all!!

There should be a control mounted to the side of the tank about 3/4 of the way up. The control has a well that goes into the tank. There is an adjustment knob for temp on this box

Sounds like a job for a handyman.

in looking over the installation manual, the tank control diagrammed on page 11 and mentioned in a 3 sentence paragraph on page 9 i(control) is not discussed anywhere else, nor are its specifications discussed. or did i miss something?

                    SuperStor Ultra Indirect Water Heater

                    SSU 60 = Superstor ultra

You don't adjust the heat on this unit, only the heat that comes into the unit.
