  • Leaking Relief Valve On 120V HWT

Get a call late in the day today about a relief valve on an elevated HWT that needs to be piped down to ground level. I get there, and theres a slow drip comming from the valve. Building owner points out that an r.p was installed on the main last week and thats when he noticed the drip. Ive had some experience with relief valves being opened manually and then not resetting fully when closed again. Water pressure in this area is between the 80-90 psi mark. Any thoughts?

          R. P. + WH = expansion tank.
