  • POU { point of use } tankless waterheater

    I have a question to ask the plummer guys { ladies as well }

    I have a office in USA and I am looking for a point of use tankless waterheater do you guy know which is good brandname I don't want end up get a POS at all.

    This will be a bathroom sink useage only nothing else.

    { keep in your mind we do have 277 volts there so if have it all by means go for it }

    That will work and bring in 120 volt is not a issue for me.

    I can able whip it out pretty fast.

      Marc, the Rinnai and Noritz brands of tankless are favored by many plumbers. BUT, a tankless is probably not the best choice for your application. Even the smallest tankless model would cost ~$500, and would require a large circuit...60 or 80 amps @ 240 or 277.

      So I second the recommendation to get a very small, 2½ or 4 gallon tank. They can run on a 15 amp 120 volt circuit, and the unit will cost under $150. This will provide more than adequate heated water for one or two sinks, and over the long run will be more reliable and will not need the semiannual maintenance required on tankless.

        A small under sink model is fine. I don't really have a brand preference.
