  • Spray Handle Problem

The American Standard spray handle on my kitchen sink leaks at the washer about every year or so. The handle is plastic, and I keep replacing the washer that goes between the handle and metal flex pipe that pulls up from the sink. I know my water pressure is on the high side, but I still think the seal should hold longer than a year or so? Don't know if they make a all metal spray handle, but would that snug into the washer better than the plastic? Overall I like the internals of the American Standard over the junk Moen it replaced. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Re: Spray Handle Problem

I guess no one has run into this problem, but I have found a replacement washer that is the same diameter in and out only thicker. Maybe the added thickness will ensure a longer lasting seal?
