  • Megaflow Pressure Reducing Valve Leaking

    Hi All,

I have a Megaflow Pressure Reducing Valve that is steadily leaking. It leaked a bit last year and a plumber took it apart and changed a rubber o-ring I think but now its dripping again.

The assembly has a shut off valve on the mains supply side.

I wanted to replace the cartridge if possible but was wondering if it will create issues with the megaflow (any blancing/bleeding required) or if I should be wary of doing this myself.

The replacement part I believe to be as follows...

    http://www.uk-plumbing.com/megaflo-p...r-p-42232.html

I will of course check this first but I believe it to be the right one.

I have a reasonable level of competance having plumbed in my loft conversion but I didn't install the megaflow (looked a bit too complicated !!!)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
