    Hello,

Stumbled across his forum, and am hoping this is the right place to ask my question.

    First, some background:
Drove a 1-1/4" well year before last. Got to 27 feet and didn't hit water, so I drove a 2" down. AT 55 feet I hit water. Drove down another 15 feet. In the process, I tore my rotator cuff and also a tendon in my forearm. Decided to just lay off until the next year at that point.(decided that a year too late, I think) Went back to it, and found that the pipe had bent at about 40 feet. So I cant get my 1-1/4" galvanized pressure pipe down to force the water up.

Now we get to my question. Does anyone know if I could get away with using plastic pipe? I think I know the answer, but am just hoping my labor wasn't totally wasted.

    Thank you.

Driven point over 32 feet? How do you plan on getting the water up?

Bottom line, turn loose of the hunny's and get a well contractor. Cheaper than a shoulder injury.

What you need is called a packer jet. Goes down the 2 inch casing and uses the 1.25 as the suction line. Uses a regular jet pump up top with a packer adapter on top of the 2 pipes.
